2. Event Mechanics

Preparation & Registration

Guild Managers are responsible for creating and managing their Guilds.

A new Guild may be created at any time, provided that it is registered before the end of Stage 1: Point Accumulation Stage.

Each Guild must choose a unique Guild Name. This Guild Name will be used for:

  • Guild registration with the organizers
  • The username format of all Guild members according to the following formula:

GuildName + Personal Username

Example:

Guild Name: CLO

Member Username: Bot

Resulting Username: CLOBot

Guild registration is completed by commenting the following under the official Guild registration announcement post:

  • Guild Name
  • Guild Manager UID
  • Screenshot of the Guild Manager’s game account
  • UID of all Guild members

To add a new member, the Guild Manager must reply to the original Guild registration comment and provide the new member’s UID.

Registration is considered successful once a GRID OF CHANGE administrator reacts to the comment or reply.

Competitors may join a Guild until the end of Stage 1: Point Accumulation Stage.

To join a Guild, a Competitor must:

  • Contact the Guild Manager and receive approval
  • Update their GRID username according to the Guild naming format
  • Have the Guild Manager register them through a reply comment
  • Have the Guild Manager notify the Admin via inbox

The registration becomes valid once a GRID OF CHANGE administrator reacts to the comment or reply.

A player’s points will only count for a Guild from the moment the player officially joins that Guild.

Stage 1: Point Accumulation Stage

Guild Points are calculated based on the daily performance of Guild members in GRID CHAMPIONSHIP 2026.

Each day, every Guild member who wins at least one valid match in GRID CHAMPIONSHIP 2026 contributes:

+1 Point to the Guild Point Pool.

Each member may contribute a maximum of 1 point per day, even if they win more than one match on the same day.

Points only count for a Guild from the time the player officially joins that Guild.

Examples:

  • Example 1:

Guild A has 5 members participating in GRID CHAMPIONSHIP 2026.

All 5 members win at least one valid match.

→ Guild A receives +5 Points.

  • Example 2:

Guild A has 5 participating members.

Only 3 members win at least one valid match.

→ Guild A receives +3 Points.

  • Example 3:

One member of Guild A wins 3 matches in a single day.

→ That member still contributes only +1 Point for the Guild on that day.

Stage 2: Lucky Draw Stage

After the Point Accumulation Stage ends, the organizers will summarize the Guild Point Pool of all valid Guilds.

A Guild qualifies for the Lucky Draw Stage if it meets both conditions:

  • Ranks within the Top 10 Guilds with the highest point totals
  • Reaches the minimum point requirement announced by the organizers before the event

Example: The Top 10 Guilds with the highest points and at least X points qualify for the Lucky Draw Stage.

How Representatives Are Selected for the Lucky Draw Stage:

  • Each qualified Guild must select a number of Guild representatives to participate in the Lucky Draw Stage.
  • The number of representatives will be announced by the organizers before the event.
  • Selected representatives must be valid Guild members who contributed during the event period.

How Competitors Qualify for the Play-off Stage:

  • After representative lists are confirmed, the organizers will conduct a random draw.
  • The Lucky Draw Stage will select 16 lucky Competitors who will officially advance to the Play-off Stage.

Notes:

  • The draw will be conducted publicly or through another transparent method chosen by the organizers
  • Each Competitor receives only one entry in the draw
  • If a selected Competitor is ineligible or unable to participate, the organizers may redraw or select a replacement according to event regulations
  • Guild Managers are not allowed to participate in the Lucky Draw Stage or the Play-off Stage

Stage 3: Play-off Stage

The 16 Competitors selected through the Lucky Draw Stage will advance to the Play-off Stage.

Competitors will be matched according to brackets announced by the organizers.

All Play-off matches will use a BO1 (Best of 1) format.

Final Match Rules

  • The Final Match will take place within 30 minutes of official gameplay time.
  • The two finalists will continuously compete against each other throughout this period.
  • Each match victory counts as one win.
  • After official match time ends, the Competitor with more wins becomes the final champion.

Notes:

  • Dead Time: Time before a match starts does not count toward official match time
  • The final ongoing match will continue until a final result is reached even if official match time has expired
  • If the score is tied when official time ends, both Competitors will continue playing the final match to determine the winner
  • Competitors are not allowed to quit the Final Match early (“Quitting” means one or both Competitors stop playing before official match time ends.)

Penalty Rules:

  • A leading Competitor who quits early: Will be declared the loser even if currently leading by a large score.
  • A losing Competitor who quits early: May be prohibited from participating in future tournaments for 1–10 events depending on the decision of the GRID TEAM.

3. Participation Requirements

All GRID OF CHANGE Competitors are eligible to participate.

There is no limit on:

  • Number of Competitors
  • Number of Guilds

4. Reward Structure

The total prize pool is calculated using the following formula:

$1,000 + (Number of Valid Guilds × $100)

Example: If there are 10 valid Guilds: $1,000 + (10 × $100) = $2,000

Prize Distribution

  • Champion Guild Manager: Receives 60% of the total prize pool
  • Champion Representative: Receives 30% of the total prize pool
  • Remaining Members of the Champion Guild: Receive 10% of the total prize pool

Note: Rewards for Guild members only apply to valid Guild members recognized by the organizers.

5. Notes
