OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Healthy Competition Initiative

Official Match Schedule

To all Guild Leaders and participants,

To create a fair, healthy, and sustainable competitive environment, GRID 8×8 Guild League will not keep matches available 24 hours a day.

Instead, the tournament will operate using the Start / Pause system.

Before each Start, GOCPartner will normally make an official announcement 30-60 minutes in advance, giving every Guild and participant enough time to prepare.

Each Active Match Period will last up to 4 hours, and may be shorter depending on the event schedule.

Only matches completed during official Active Match Periods will be counted toward the Season rankings.

Why does GOCPartner use the Start / Pause system?

Our goal is simple:

To protect the health, well-being, and real-life responsibilities of our community.

We never want players to feel pressured to stay online all day, lose sleep, neglect work or studies, or sacrifice precious time with their families simply to keep up with the rankings.

GRID was created to bring people together through fun, strategic thinking, teamwork, and healthy competition.

GRID is not a place where people are expected to sacrifice their health, time, or money.

We believe that a great tournament is not one that keeps players online 24/7, but one that allows everyone to compete at their best during dedicated match periods, then return to their careers, education, families, and daily lives.

That is why each Active Match Period will be limited in duration instead of remaining open throughout the entire event.

The Spirit of the GRID Community

At its heart, GRID is more than a game.

It is a community built on respect, friendship, and positive competition.

Throughout the tournament, intense rivalries and occasional disagreements are inevitable.

That is completely normal in every sport and every Esport.

However, we sincerely hope that everyone will remain respectful, stay calm under pressure, and always be willing to forgive one another when misunderstandings occur.

Peace is a wonderful thing.

Winning brings excitement.

Losing brings experience.

But in the end, the most valuable rewards are the friendships we build, the teammates who stand beside us, and the unforgettable memories we create together.

Whether you win or lose, we hope you will always remain kind, humble, respectful, and supportive of one another.

Because the greatest victory is never simply defeating another Guild.

The greatest victory is becoming a better version of yourself while helping build a healthier, friendlier, and more united GRID community.

Thank you to every Guild and every participant for joining us in creating an Esports community that is not only competitive, but also respectful, sustainable, and filled with positive values.
