This page contains the latest official information about GRID OF CHANGE.
Last updated: 31/07/2026
GRID OF CHANGE is played on a strategy board where each player tries to expand control by placing pieces in smart positions.
Every match combines board strategy with unique Skills. Before the game begins, players can equip Skills to defend important positions, interrupt the opponent’s plans, create new opportunities, or change the flow of the match.
The board starts with 4 pieces in the center, with each player controlling 2 pieces. Players then take turns placing one piece on the board. When a newly placed piece traps your opponent’s pieces between two of your own pieces, those pieces become yours.
As the board changes, control shifts with every move. Having more pieces early does not always lead to victory. Success comes from protecting key positions, planning ahead, choosing the right moment to use Skills, and predicting your opponent’s next move.
Every placement and every Skill can change the balance of the board, making every match a unique strategic challenge.
