Introduction to GRID 8×8 League

GRID 8×8 League is a seasonal competitive program within the 8×8 mode of GRID, where players compete through matches to accumulate Event Points (EP).

Unlike mining-based or holding-based systems, GRID 8×8 League focuses entirely on actual gameplay performance.

1. Program Overview

GRID 8×8 League operates in independent Seasons, each with a defined start and end time.

In each season:

  • Players join by paying a one-time ELM entry fee
  • Players can play unlimited matches after joining
  • Rankings are based on Event Points (EP)
  • Leaderboards follow the visibility configuration of each season

This program evaluates real competitive performance within the GRID ecosystem.

2. Participation Requirements

To join a season:

  • Complete KYC on GOCPartner
  • Become a GOCPartner Partner
  • Pay the entry fee in ELM

Entry fee:

  • Paid once per season
  • Non-refundable
  • Unlocks unlimited matches for the entire season

3. EP Scoring System

For each match:

  • Win: +3 EP
  • Draw: +1 EP
  • Loss: -3 EP

EP can go below zero.

4. Ranking Mechanism

Leaderboard ranking is based on:

  • Total EP

Tie-breakers may apply:

  • Win rate
  • Total matches
  • Time of reaching EP

(These rules may vary by season)

5. Transparency & Visibility

During each season, the system may display:

  • Username
  • EP (Event Point)
  • Ranking position

However, data visibility is configurable per season, depending on the operational strategy:

  • Fully visible in real time
  • EP hidden while rankings remain visible
  • Results revealed only after the season ends

6. Season Reset

At the end of each season:

  • All EP and rankings are reset
  • Players must rejoin to participate in the next season

7. Anti-Fraud Policy

The system includes anti-abuse mechanisms:

  • Matchmaking adjustments when player pool is low
  • Increased BOT matchmaking under certain conditions
  • Monitoring abnormal behavior

GOCPartner Team reserves the right to disqualify players if necessary.
