Representatives from registered Guilds will be paired against each other in a BO1 single-elimination format.

The bracket includes:

Round of 8 → Quarterfinals → Semifinals → Grand Final

Each BO1 match will determine which Grid Competitor advances to the next round.

Viewers can also join the CHAMPION PREDICTION mini-game during the livestream.

A prediction is valid only when all of the following requirements are met:

Where to Predict: Comment directly in the livestream chat on the official GRID OF CHANGE Twitch channel GRID OF CHANGE Twitch

Prediction Format: UID_[Your UID]_Champion_=_[Your predicted Champion]

Prediction Period: Predictions are counted from the start of the official tournament time at 13:00 UTC until before the Quarterfinals begin.

The Host will announce the exact time when predictions close during the livestream.

4. Grand Final Format

The Grand Final will be different from the previous rounds.

The two finalists will compete continuously for 30 minutes of actual playing time. Each completed game win counts as 1 win.

When the official 30-minute playing time ends, the Grid Competitor with more game wins becomes the GUILD GRID CHAMPIONSHIP – September 2026 Champion.

Grand Final Rules

Dead time: Time before a game starts will not be counted as part of the 30-minute Grand Final playing time.

Final match: If the last game has already started before the 30-minute period ends, the game will continue until a final result is reached.

Tie: If both Grid Competitors have the same number of wins when the official playing time ends, they will play one additional game to determine the final winner.

No abandonment: Grid Competitors are not allowed to abandon a game, even when they are losing by a large margin.

Abandonment means that one or both Grid Competitors stop playing before the game has officially ended. If a Grid Competitor abandons a game:

A Grid Competitor who is winning but abandons the game will be recorded as the loser, even if they have a large lead.
A Grid Competitor who is losing and abandons the game may be suspended from future GRID tournaments for 1 to 10 tournaments, depending on the decision of the GRID Team.
